Aldar builds on a pool of about twenty volunteers with a wide range of skills. Regular hours make the biggest difference — even one session a week helps.
Session support
Help set up rooms, welcome people, and assist tutors during classes for children, young people and adults.
Events
Lend a hand at open houses, yard sales, heritage days and the annual gala — from stewards to silent-auction helpers.
Fundraising
Join the fundraising committee in planning activities, speaking with local businesses, and keeping donors informed.
Specialist work such as grounds, maintenance, health and safety or security is arranged with contractors. Most volunteering is about people — welcoming, supporting and staying with a session.
